• Promote safety awareness and application of company Management System, SOPs and policies
• Ensure subordinate personnel are fully aware of their responsibilities under Management System
• Ensure subordinate personnel apply all safety procedures correctly in the workplace
• Manage the workload and operation of the Production and Process
• Assess the competence of subordinate personnel using company competency system and ensure continuous and timely progress of subordinate personnel
• Ensure probationary and annual appraisals are completed fairly and consistently in timely manner
• Manage welfare and disciplinary issues at team level with appropriate reference to Superintendent
• Efficient operation of unit systems having due regard for Health and safety
• Ensure full compliance with PTW system, and Risk assessment and verification
• Efficiency improvement and pursuance of company goals
• Report maintenance work required in timely fashion to maximise efficiency and uptime
• Deputize for Production Superintendent during ER, managing Emergency Response with due regard for safety of personnel, vessel and environment
• Demonstrate through exercises and scenarios, knowledge and awareness of emergency response techniques
• Ensure planned KPI's of efficiency & performance are met or exceeded.

• Appointed as Deputy Shift Supervisor for daily operations in base plant
• Report to the Shift Supervisor on all shift related activities
• Handle daily operational tasks, perform troubleshooting and take appropriate corrective actions case of plant upset in accordance with the upset scenario or with the instructions given by the Shift Supervisor
• Perform Date Logging and routine sampling
• Participating in making of unit procedures, start-up and shutdown procedures
• Support Operations Engineer and Operation Specialist to manage day to day running of the plant
• Manage work permits and LOTO system
• Maintain plant consumables inventory
• Responsible for observing, recording and reporting deviations
• Responsible of guiding and steering the entire team to achieve all instrucon passed down from Operations Day Team
• Responsible for training new technician in terms of skill and knowledge

Selected to participate actively in all projects concerning Plant Modifications or Improvement

• Involvement in punch listings on lines and valves, isometric drawings, walk downs with contractors (under Construction Phase) for Singapore Expansion Plant
• Procedure review and updates
• Involvement in Pre-commissioning and Commissioning for Base plant in 2010 and also in the new Singapore Expansion Project
• Participate in Emergency Response Team
• Pre-Treatment Unit/Utilities/Tank farm operation
• Involved in PID reviews and HAZOP discussion for Singapore expansion plant in Rome
• Stand in as Site Incident Commander
• Master Trainer for new console operator on Emerson DeltaV for Singapore Expansion Plant.
• Field trainer for newly joined technicians for the Singapore Expansion Plant

• Conduct basic maintenance on equipment and facilities in the process units, utilities and offsite logistics
• Resolve operational issues and provide process, technical and mechanical support
• Involved in turnaround, shutdown & start up
• Participation in Emergency Response
• Operations in Steam Boiler/Utilities/Tank farm
• Work permit system.

• Perform proper line up of pipings, pumps, valves, manifolds and tanks for loading and discharging
• To check pumps and pipelines for vibration, leakages and damages
• Assist with berthing of vessel and monitoring ongoing operations in tank farm area and jetty
• Carry out shore/ship tank sampling, measurements such as tank gauging and water draw off operations, temperature checks and measurements
• Carry out first line maintenance such as strainer cleaning,replacing blinds, greasing of valves and oiling of operational equipments
• Attend to oil pollution control activities
• Participation in Emergency Response Team.
