Ian Yew

With a lifelong passion for singing, I have received voice lessons from Anna Koor, a renowned mezzo-soprano in Singapore. I achieved Distinction in both Grade 5 and Grade 8 in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) examinations.

My formal music education began at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where I studied under Dr. Jessica Chen and graduated with a Diploma in Music, majoring in voice, in 2022. During my time at NAFA, I had the honor of being selected for numerous public performances, nominated for the school's Diploma and Degree High Scorers Performance in 2021, and awarded First Prize in the NAFA Vocal competition in 2022. Alongside my musical pursuits.

I have gained extensive experience providing administrative and management support in both the public and private sectors. Demonstrate excellence in leveraging expertise in leadership, organizational development and change management to achieve objectives of all stakeholders. My strengths lie in cultivating a positive work environment, and implementing strategic initiatives that promote long-term growth and success across diverse organizational settings.

The Light Chamber Singers traverse the unaccompanied choral music of the standard Classical to the less trodden music of the 20th & 21st century. 

2018 - Present, International Christian Festival Singer's

The mission of the International Christian Festival Singer's (ICFS) is to bring together Christian musicians from all over the world to form a world-class choir.

2017 - Present, Hallelujah Singers

 Hallelujah Singer is one of the choral groups under the umbrella of Hallelujah Oratorio Society (HOS).

2017 - 2018, Singapore Symphony Youth Choir

The Singapore Symphony Youth Choir (SSYC) is an energetic ensemble inaugurated in 2016.

The mission of Hallelujah Oratorio Society (HOS) is to promote and raise the standard of church music in the Asian region.
