• Functions performed:
• Domiz refugees’ camp: Setting up an efficient emergency sanitation system: constructing and improving existing latrines and emergency pits. Designing and constructing high-quality toilets and desludging septic tanks with a volume of about 28 m3 . Conducting hygiene awareness campaigns targeted at the refugee population. Implementing winterization measures by building water net frame canals to collect and properly dispose of black water to prevent contamination risks. Designing 25 toilets for people with disabilities in compliance with UNICEF standards.
• IDPs Khonke Camp: Water tank construction of 90 m3 each, net frame delivery system, replacing emergency pits with septic tanks allowing desludging. Construction and rehabilitation of toilets to match a standard of 14 people for latrine, hygiene promotion, and delivery of emergency kits.

• Functions performed: Planning and supervising WASH, sanitation, and DRR projects for the entire country, mainly in the northeast of Afghanistan. • Name of project Emergency Program for facilities and infrastructure water/health in 14 villages in the district of Karuk, Herat Province. (Western Afghanistan) Location: Herat

• Drilling Campaign: 26 new wells drilled successfully and other 31 were wells rehabilitated, all wells were tested for portability
• Designing and construction of a two wells and two elevated water tanks powered by photovoltaic energy supplying two schools: two photovoltaic stations of 1 KW/h each were conceived, designed and installed on the roof of the schools for the operation of an electrical submersible pump (0.55 KW – 220V – 4.5) with a rated capacity of 1 m3 per hour. Water was pumped up to elevated 3 m3 tanks to acquire head charge level for distribution.
