Senior Staff Nurse 1
I am presently posted at ward 42 Renal Ward/ Dialysis Center as senior staff nurse. Ward 42 A cares for patients with all aspects of renal failure and offers staff the opportunity to develop specialist skills such as caring for patient post renal biopsy, patient underwent Hemodialysis treatment and patient with dialysis related complications. Patients admitted with many different issues including vascular access problems, acute and chronic renal failure etc. With 7 years working in SGH I received Service Champion Award for year 2008,2009 4 2011, 2014. I was also awarded an EXSA Silver award in 2009. Singhealth Gold service award 2012 & 2016. Singhealth Star Award 2019. Been preceptoring new staff nurses and student nurses since 2010 to present. Had undergone training for preceptoring/mentoring course before commencing teaching and supervising new nursing staff and students.
