  • Customer Forecast –Weekly Evaluation on unconstrained expectation of demand from the customer
  • Master Production Schedule (MPS) – Analysing and loading demand into SAP system by date week or the date that we expect to ship product to the customer based on Business scenarios
  • TM1/Forecast – Proposing Forecast value and aligning with Business Unit to commit to Corporate
  • Impact Reporting – Identifying weekly changes between proposed MPS and current MPS with their revenue variances and potential risks and reviewing with BU and Ops as a basis for discussion between Jabil and the customer
  • Sell–Through Analysis – Using the historical sell through rate (past shipments) to gauge against forward looking demand
  • Constraints – Analyzing for the gaps in Material, capacity, people or any other resource constraints that will have an impact on Jabil’s ability to meet the customer demand
  • Sizing – Evaluating, analyzing capacity and material availability to meet the customer unconstrained expectation/customer forecast
  • Rough Cut Impact Analysis – Quick, high-level evaluation of the validity of the customer forecast and identify significant changes between the current forecast and the previously agreed upon forecast
  • Capacity Modelling – To review of the Capacity Model outputs and identify areas of concern such as underutilization of capital equipment, unrealistic loading, and overtime requirements
  • If areas of concern are identified than investigating into the details and developing an action plan with potential solutions as reschedule of demand, splitting demand among alternate work-centers, planning for improvement in productivity, and increase/decrease of hours, days, shifts, or equipment
  • Analyzing Shortages – Analyzing the shortages and assign/allocate the material as per customer priorities if necessary
  • The prioritization of the assemblies allows for the allocation of materials to the higher prioritized assemblies first
  • Preparing data to understand the impact material shortages have on the proposed MPS/Demand plan
  • Risk Evaluation – To evaluate the risk associated with the proposed MPS like to evaluate Revenue at Risk, Clean to Build % and Supply Shortages
  • It also helps to identify main shortages and assemblies impacted at the high level with the ability to drill down to detail
  • FIA (Financial Impact Analysis) – Analyzing to get the financial risk driven by the demand changes, NPI, EOL, ECN change
  • New Product Implementation – Working with Customer for the NPI, pilot build and driving cross functional teams for Manpower, Machines, Raw material, Tooling’s etc
