I am currently a Software support engineer in Realtek Singapore Pte ltd. My work content is collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure code interoperability and platform compatibility. My job's detailed responsibility is as follows,

• Developed UML flowcharts to facilitate efficient debugging processes.

• Excelled in rapid troubleshooting to identify and resolve root causes.

• Delivered timely solution patches to adhere to strict release schedules.

• Directed Quality Control (QC) validation processes to guarantee product excellence.

• Maintained effective communication with upstream and downstream partners to synchronize project progress.

• Crafted technical documentation, including test plans and procedures, and generated comprehensive reports for internal and customer comprehension.

For every case I have done, the above standard of procedure will be repeated. And the supported cases are shown as follows.

DFS Channel Switch

  • Once detected radar signal, it steers to a new channel based on choice by Wi-Fi driver.
  • Broadcasts new channel to all nearby APs to inform them to switch to the same channel as it does.

Client Steering

  • Collect neighbor measurement like rssi value to controller according to 802.11k protocol.
  • Decide best-bss to steer to by the calculation of measurement value comparing.
  • Guide the steering procedure according to 802.11v protocol.

Backhaul Steering

  • Check network environment through periodically link metric frames exchange.
  • Decide best-bss for Agent AP based on path score and distance.
  • Query steer by sending frame from controller AP, and acknowledge the end of steer by agent AP.

Multi-AP Networking

  • Onboarding: Transfers M1-M8 credentials through wireless tools using WP procedure.
  • Discovery: Discover associated direct-neighbor by uni-cast frame exchange.
  • Autoconfiguration: Configures 802.11 interfaces on each of the radio of a Agent after received the configuration frame from controller AP.
