  • Develop training materials and conduct the training for staff working in a BSL2/BSL-2+ laboratory
  • Monitor and keep track of training records, medical records, mask fitting and laboratory access rights.
  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures for incidents involving biohazardous agents and materials.
  • Oversee the tracking of biological inventories.
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections, identity and assess any unsafe condition in the worksite/work practice and to recommend practicable measures to remedy the work condition/practice.
  • Present lab inspection findings, lab safety updates and performance metrics at All-Hands meetings.
  • In charge of maintenance, equipment licensing and re-certification of BSL2 facilities
  • Involve in both internal and external audits such as BSI, MOH and other relevant regulatory bodies.
