I had over 30 years of experience in banking and finance with strong expertise in credit and marketing. Joined Maybank in 1986 as an Accountant, rising to the position of Head, Corporate Banking in 1998 and held various roles in senior functional and leadership position, including , Head of Remedial Management, Head of Risk Management, and Head of Group Credit Management.

I was the Dy CEO of Maybank, Singapore from Aug 2014 to Jun 2021, while serving simultaneously as the Head of Corporate Office in charge of Legal, Islamic Banking, Property Services, Corporate Social Responsibility and Customer Experience Management.

As Dy, CEO, I deputized CEO in his absence and assumed as Alternate Chairperson to the following Committees:
