  • Pricing strategy - Develop a clear pricing strategy based on understanding of the head and back hauls, cargo seasonality in a calendar year and making the necessary pricing adjustments where required to achieve the desired ROI.
  • Regional accounts - Collaborate with the Regional Accounts team on identifying and growing desired regional accounts on trade corridors for services which they are deemed essential. Service owner to work with locations where necessary and intervene to provide support for the regional accounts team with locations/regions to ensure service and support levels are what they should be.
  • Service enhancements - Make recommendations on service upgrades, add or withdraw existing services if service has become financially irresponsible.
  • Market/Competitor data - Develop and establish marketing and competitor data that will facilitate both service owner and region/locations’ decision making process.
  • Key roles (day-to-day main duties)
  • General expectation / quality – to anticipate upcoming issues and provide alternative choices to minimise any adverse impact on the service P&L.
  • Space allocation for MT repositioning balanced with laden loads for both SOC and COC in discussion with the equipment flow team.
  • Service management - collaborate and coordinate with Regional Operation team to ensure service integrity and reliability of product and surface to senior management for necessary decision/action to be taken.
