Attained underwriting Authority :

* Life up to SGD 1,000,000 and +200% extra mortality

* Disability up to SGD 1,000,000 and +150% extra mortality

* Critical Illness up to SGD 750,000 and +100% extra mortality

• Negotiated favorable terms with agents while maintaining company''s underwriting standards, via face to face consultation, phone calling and/or virtual meeting.
• Reviewed applications for insurance coverage consisting of Life plan, Accident, H&S, etc.
• Handled referral emails from agents for various underwriting matters and inquiries.
• Supported and collaborated with internal Business Development Managers/Heads to ensure agents gain access to quality underwriting services.

• Responded to customer needs, assess their needs, and present timely solutions to achieve customer satisfaction. Daily inquiries include Motor, Non-Motor and Life insurance matters (eg. insurance renewal, payment, claim/underwriting/policy service status updates, etc)
• Handled customer's emails within agreed TAT.
• Mitigated complaints, followed-through critical escalations quickly to ensure retention of customers.
• Collaborated with staff members to enhance customer service experiences.

Attained underwriting authority of sum assured up to RM 750,000 and +50% extra mortality

• Reviewed and assessed proposals mainly from the bank partners (UOB & SCB) and agencies. Products underwritten include Investment-linked, Traditional Life/Term Plan, Mortgage, Endowment/Par Plan, H&S, etc.
• Performed admin tasks which included proposal data verification, issuance of underwriting requirement memo and requirement updates.
