Power Characterization(2024-present)

• Develop test program and methodologies to perform power characterization(focus on peak current measurement and power management) of NAND devices.
• Execute power char evaluation flow and analysis(Energy Table, Break Point Analysis, Vampire).
• Collaborate with NAND design, application engineering, product and system teams to drive closure of device issues and root causes investigation on reported device issues.
• Automation of program development, execution flow and work processes using both scripting and AI tools to improve the efficiency.
• Data correlation between new and old tester platform for new platform test enablement.
• Take responsibility on managing testing hardware including tester allocation, test cards, probes, oscilloscopes and other required devices in our team.
• Leveraging/utilizing copilot including agent creation to aid team daily task force such as automate the flow execution, create/enhance post-process scripting, spec extraction and etc.
• Mentor new/junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and industry standards for successful project completion.

Functional Design Validation(2022-2024):

• Development of test program for new NAND designs and develop additional new test coverage.
• Secondary lead engineer in the team for world first 232-layers NAND device.
• Led and involved in several new design revisions as well as REM/trim fix validation to ensure the functionality of product is working as expected.
• Flag and analyze device functionality issues as well as report findings to the stakeholder engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product development and design teams to resolve the issues and evaluate fixes.
• Investigation/correlation of customer/system issues.
• Involved in Random Sequence Generator(RSG) Validation - to detect corner case failures by generating, combining and randomizing the legal test vector.

• Develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting power management semiconductor products.
• Support and be responsible for new innovative approaches in sustaining continuous yield improvement of production test for multiple products.
• Interact with Asian facilities(Perak(MY)/China/Thailand) and ensures timely transfer of engineering and production test packages for Final test to various test sites.
• Hands on troubleshooting testing lab/production hardware(test/load board) and ATE with tools (oscilloscope/multimeter/soldering).
• Supported new ATE and handlers setup at both lab and production floor.
• Tester solution platform migration and correlation.
• Migrate and develop test program on new tester platform to attain low test cost and address test setup capacity constraints (from ASL1000 to Teradyne ETS88).
• Qualification data collection for test platform migration (GRR/Cpk/Cp).
