• Sales Engineer – Expand Company’s potential clientele base, prepare and deliver technical presentation to both the customer’s technical team and purchasing team. Conduct regular follow-up actions with the customers to establish and maintain strong business relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Tendering Engineer - Preparation of project tender documents, materials and equipment sourcing, handle all communication for technical and commercial clarifications during bidding stage, involved in contract negotiation with clients and suppliers to achieve the best commercial position with minimum exposure to risk.
• Project & Site Engineer – Liaison with all parties involved in the project including local authorities, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers so as to ensure smooth progress of work on site. Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on work progression and monitor project schedule, preparation of work method statements and responsible for troubleshooting of technical site problems. Work closely with site supervisors and foremen on effective deployment of workers on site. Observe and inculcate safety awareness among site personnel and workers.

• Certified NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers)
  Level 2.
• CP Design – Provision of design, optimization and technical consultation for CP system.
• Site Survey– Conduct site corrosion surveys, troubleshooting, Installation supervision and commissioning services for CP design.
• QA/QC – Conduct regular inspection at manufacturing plants to ensure quality of the products are within required specification. Perform random assessment to the testing conducted in QC lab such at electrochemical, chemical analysis testing and etc.
• Project – Provide specific CP design for customer’s project, ensuring all project requirements and deadlines are met from design phase to manufacturing of products and final goods delivery up to complete successful installation of the products at client’s yard. In between, timely project progresses are reported to the management.
• Quotation / Cost Estimation – Present relevant quotes to the recommended designed CP system or system required by customer. Quotation provided is based on cost estimation from latest raw material pricing such as LME, steel metal pricing and etc.
• Purchasing – Selection and procurement of specialist materials for CP system, such as seamless pipes, mild steel flat bars, round bars and other technically required materials.
• Sales – Articulate products to both the customer’s technical team and purchasing team. Conduct regular follow-up actions with the customers to check on possibility of deal completion.
• Logistic– Monitor and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Coordinate customer sales order processing such as preparing the packing list. Provide relevant freight or transport charges / advice.

Started a Fashion Apparel store with 2 partners, where 3 of us pooled in an initial capital of SGD10,000. The concept was to set up a trendy Fashion Apparel store in neighborhood market. The business broke-even within 1st yr of operations. The business continues to grow after 3 years of operations. In order to further capitalize on our investment, strategic decision was made to sell off the business in August 2008.
