Fiona Chua

A student who thinks before she speaks. She gathers all available facts before making informed decisions. Fiona was also highly dependant as a Class Vice-Chairperson(2017) who saw through tasks. She took initiative to collect forms when they were handed out and gave updates to teachers about who had not submitted them.

In National Police Cadet Corps, Fiona's Co-Curricular Activity, she was always willing to try new roles especially challenging ones even though she is quiet by nature. She volunteered to be the In-Charge for Area 1 Games Day, and broke away from her quiet persona to brief cadets from other school about games rules and gameplay in a confident manner.

In addition, her resilience was shown most evidently through her participation in the prestigious Inter-Unit Campcraft Competition. Even though training sessions were long and tough, Fiona persevered through the months of training and achieved 4th position out of 110 teams in Singapore.

As a concern citizen who cares for the underprivileged, Fiona has taken active role in bettering the lives of others around her in several Values in Action Projects. These included the cross-cultural performances she put up at the Lion's Befrienders' yearly celebration to bring smiles to the elderly, the food distribution drive to residents in one-room flats in Boon Lay during Ramadhan.

She was also identified closely with her mission as a NPCC cadet and the needs of the community, serving yearly as a Police Youth Ambassador of the Woodlands East Neighbourhood Police Centre to spread anti-crime messages door to door in the neighborhood. Her unstinting devotion and contribution back to society is commendable.
