I have extensive experience in the water and infrastructure sector, and have taken on diverse roles which include project management, contract administration, policy & regulatory, and operations & maintenance.

- Develop Singapore's drainage master plans to address long term climate risks.
- Dovetail drainage plans with other long-term infrastructural developments in Singapore to achieve multi-beneficial use of land
- Conduct feasibility studies and secure funding from the Government for drainage improvement projects.
- Oversee drainage block budget of over $1bil for FY21-25
- Manage the geospatial database of drainage assets and infrastructure, and transitioning from current 2D to 3D models using BIM in the near future.
- Lead teams to evaluate drainage submissions to ensure compliance with Code of Practice on Surface Water Drainage
- Collaborate with planning and developing agencies to dovetail drainage plans with upcoming developments and redevelopment plans.
- Collaborate closely with the built industry professionals and developers to streamline drainage and earth control measures submission and approval process
- Lead the review and update of drainage policy (Sewerage & Drainage Act) and technical requirements (Code of Practice), including land matters pertaining to Drainage Reserves
- Secure plan cost from the Government for drainage improvement projects and oversee the management of drainage block budget of over $1 billion for FY21-25
- Led the commercial management and procurement of the cross-border contracts and tenders with Malaysia for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) project which included PPP contract (AssetsCo) and Joint Development Partner.
- Collaborated closely with legal advisors, civil and rail technical teams, Malaysian counterparts (MyHSR), consultation with key government stakeholders and extensive engagement of global industry partners of the HSR value chain to develop the contract terms.
- Led the maintenance unit that manages the potable water distribution network to ensure 24/7 water supply to residents, industries and businesses in eastern part of Singapore.
- Responsible for prompt response to customer feedback cases on water quality and supply issues, and fixing of pipe bursts.
- Led the overall planning and project management of the renewal of water distribution and transmission mains in Singapore
- Championed environmental sustainability initiatives and developed targets for PUB and for the larger water sector.
- Assisted in setting targets and formulating road maps to improve energy efficiency of PUB’s operations and reduce PUB’s carbon footprint.
- Helped to drive PUB's efforts in developing Smart Nation initiatives for Water Sector and worked closely with our counterparts in IDA, HDB and the private technology providers.
- Liaised with consultants to carry out environmental impact assessment studies to assess the impact of new desalination plants and used water reclamation plants on the marine environment.
- Worked on climate change adaptation and mitigation plans to safeguard against future water-related climate risks. In particular, I was involved in the coastal risk and adaptation studies and adaptation studies on water supply and drainage infrastructure.
- Specialized in membrane treatment technologies to reclaim high grade water from used water.
- Supported the commissioning of the expansion of Phase 2 of Bedok NEWater Factory.
