Hockey

As the current captain of NYP hockey, and the ex vice-captain of Victoria Hockey, I've been blessed beyond measure to have had the privilege to led so many talented and passionate individuals. Some of the greatest lessons in regards to leadership were bestowed unto me over the past few years. To lead by example, to always empower those around me, and to serve the people I'm leading by taking the lower position, and most importantly to lead with love. These are just some of the valuable lessons I've learnt. 

Apart from that, leading my team has given me the opportunity to work under pressure. When emotions are running high, sweat is dripping down our faces and the sun is scorching hot, not to forget the uncountable profanities and taunts being thrown around everywhere. It's in these situations where our true selves are shown, and where leaders are really tried and tested. I will be forever grateful for the opportunities to rally my team to persevere and press on! The accolades and accomplishments all come secondary to this.

Worship Drumming

I am a church worship drummer, which has provided me the opportunity to work with music creatives and professionals. This has taught me how to work well in a team setting for a common goal, fostering my interpersonal skills almost every other week, and enhances my ability to adapt in various situations

Photography

I enjoy photography of various subjects, from nature to aviation to landscapes, which has taught me the skills of improvisation and adaptability, critical thinking, and creativity. Most importantly, it has taught me patience.
