My last formal working experience was 20 years ago. I have been gifted with 3 exceptional children and have been blessed to be able to stay home to care for them over the years.
I left for Suzhou, China, with my husband in 2003 and returned to Singapore 7 years ago. In the 7 years, I've battled Breast Cancer, completed a Diploma course in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology, started a degree program with the Singapore University of Social Science in Counselling, and learnt to Scuba Dive and Stand Up Paddle.
I enjoy connecting with people, from meeting new clients and fostering relationships, parent volunteer engaging with little children and working with parents and teachers as a Stand Up Paddle Instructor guiding students of all ages while teaching them a new skill.
I am an organized, dedicated and dependable candidate with a positive attitude.
Knitting is a hobby I picked up when I was 24 years old. Over the years in China, I stopped briefly when the children came. As they grew and I had time on hand, I picked it up again and have been knitting since. Raverly has been a huge inspiration for the community to share about yarns and patterns and it has been my companion during my days in China.
Scuba diving has been the thing to do since my twenties. I am glad I did it eventually. I am into underwater macro photography, and Lembeh is one of my favourite dive sites for macro photography.
