Research Interests

Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by the relationship between scientific research and economic development, particularly in light of the pressing need for alternative energy sources that will reduce CO2 emissions and promote global development. It is my hope that my research can contribute to this important cause. I am excited to apply to the Utilization of CO2 program, as it presents a unique challenge to explore my research towards achieving net zero carbon emissions. My extensive research experience has prepared me to undertake advanced research projects in small molecule activation and reduction, including O2, H+, and CO2, focusing on sustainable energy production and process optimization. Through electrochemical, spectro-electrochemical, and Spectroscopic studies, I aim to better understand the structure-function correlations underlying these important processes.
