Function Responsibilities

  • Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to existing customer base in line with segment and product strategy

  • Execute promotional plan and segment specific sales strategy, with support of sales solutions management
  • Report sales forecasts of customer demand in close interaction with outbound sales management towards the S&OP process.
  • Supports sales organization in negotiating prices with customer ensuring effective communication of PALFINGER value proposition
  • Monitors performance, sets-targets and develops sales network in accordance with sales strategy
  • Understand landscapes and trends and report forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Represent business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

  • Establishing standards of performance and recommend training in areas where there is competency gap
  • Work closely with HR to build functional expertise through effective talent acquisition or training and development to ensure healthy talent/succession pipeline within sales function
