Developed a detailed understanding of Leadership, Adaptability, Resilience through my 14 years at UWCSEA. Further valuable experience was made at Norstar Group Asia, where I honed my analytical problem-solving skills and developed a keen understanding of global business operations. Proven ability in client management and effective communication, complemented by a strong work ethic and adaptability gained from my early role as a waiter at Social Smoker SG.
During my apprenticeship at Norstar Group Asia in Dubai, I had the valuable opportunity to observe high-level meetings and take notes on real-time negotiations. This experience sparked a genuine interest in the world of business and deepened my understanding of its complexities. It also helped me develop a more mature and analytical approach to problem-solving, sharpened my critical thinking skills, and gave me a clearer perspective on how businesses operate on a global scale.
I began working part-time as a waiter at The Social Smoker at 16 years old. Which was my first experience in a professional environment. This role taught me how to manage responsibilities under pressure and strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills through daily interactions with customers. I learned to think on my feet, handle feedback professionally, and work efficiently as part of a team. The experience also helped me build confidence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced situations—all of which continue to support my personal and professional growth.
