I am a Diploma in Civil Engineering with Business graduate, with a strong new-found passion for psychology. I am meticulous and thrive under pressure; values I inculcated through my involvement in co-curricular activities as well as part time employment. My calling for psychology was discovered during my polytechnic life, through taking up psychology modules(outside my course of study) as compulsory electives modules. My main long-term career goal is to make mental health awareness more accessible to the community around me, to address issues faced like stigma around mental health/counselling, necessary to nurture an emotionally intelligent society.

• St. Andrew's NPCC Group, 2013, 2016, Organized various courses and camps for the development and support of National Police Cadet Corps, such as Rock Climbing, First Aid, Kayaking etc., Participated in Competitions that tested leadership skills and core skills, such as synergizing team members strengths. Actively conducting Kayaking Sessions
• Singapore Polytechnic Canoe Polo, 2019, 2020, Represented Singapore Polytechnic in a major canoe polo competition (NTU Opens 2020) despite having joined the co-curricular activity only 1 month before the event, with no prior experience in the sport as well. I demonstrated bravery, character & initiative to step up during competition and gave my best throughout all the matches, despite losing many of them. Thus, I am a strong team player who takes pride in whatever job has been delegated to him

• Willing Hearts, food packer, Willing Hearts is a secular, non-affiliated charity that is run by volunteer. It operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 10,000 daily meals to over 70 locations island wide, 365 days a year. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore. Packed freshly cooked food every saturday since secondary school
• Science Centre Singapore - Exhibition Co-ordinator, Actively contributed to running the children's' activity booth at the Singapore Science Centre
• Muneeswaran Community services, co-ordinator of volunteers/poverty alleviation/inmate counselling, Delivered packed groceries and household essentials to needy families at Queenstown neighbourhood. Provided counselling to kids taking national exams(PSLE/ O Levels) from SINDA, in an initiative to promote mental health and self care during stressful exam period.

• 2019- Yogarajah Scholarship (A no-bond scholarship granted to selected civil engineering students with potential & passion in the field, based on interview.)
