Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum,program of the childcare centre which includes the different sessions offered in the childcare.


Mainly ensuring that the curriculum planned; lesson plans, weekly activity plans are being delivered and prepared religiously by teachers.

Ensuring that operation runs smoothly by planning teachers' schedule as per ECDA's requirement to adhere to the mandatory teacher child ration during program and full centre operation hours.

Adhering and working closely to the requirements set by Headquarters which consist of different departments like accounting, HR,marketing,curriculum and keeping up with management's deadlines.

Provide leadership for setting goals to staff;teaching and non-teaching staff to set the required standard.

Developing effective communication with parents and teachers with other non-teaching staff to cultivate positive partnership with them.

It has been an interesting experience to be able to explore with new trends of taking photos. In contrast to the traditional way of taking photos, nowadays there are various methods and tricks to learn on how to capture candid moments and movements. Especially not just limited to the traditional device of a 'camera'. Instead, there are many innovative ways to capture wonderful moments using smart phones. With this hobby to learn and explore taking photos using such device, I am able to snap candid yet focused photos of children as I capture their learning moments as they 'work' in their classroom.


As for singing, it is definitely mostly practiced as I work with infants and children. With this hobby, I can even gain children's interest to cooperate with me as I sing out classroom rules and instructions and it is definitely applicable in my daily routine working with children as I go on my rounds in the school.


My curiosity is like the toddlers and preschoolers whom I work with. As i am always curious to learn and find out more by reading books and learning via social media and online, as i continue keeping abreast with the latest trend in technology and methodology in teaching, applying new strategies as I work with teachers and non-teaching staff to maintain professionalism for a better establishment of positive relationship at work and effective leadership .
