As registered architect in Japan, mainly worked on commercial architecture design as well as international competitions with other international architectural design companies such as Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK). As experience of young age (20's), it was great experience to take in charge of medium size commercial (retail) projects from conceptual design to completion.
Employed by Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK), San Fransisco, I was sent to design Joint Venture (JV) office in Fukuoka, Japan to work on Fukuoka International Airport. JV team was consist of Sakakura Associates, MHS Planners, Architects and Engineers and HOK.
I was the only represented from HOK to coordinate the design.
