Summary

I graduated from Diploma in Nursing and joined Major Operating Theatre in SGH since 2010 has been a nurse for 16years. I used to work in the private sector for 3 years as an Anaesthesia nurse and currently 14 years in Singapore General Hospital, Major Operating Theatre as a Peri-Operative nurse. I have assisted in various surgeries from Head and Neck, Colorectal, Upper GI and Liver transplant procedures.

I was awarded the HMDP in Minimally Invasive Surgery of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and its Perioperative preparation in Japan in 2015. This award allows me to assist my surgeons better and guide the juniors in HPB procedures.

I was also awarded with the Most Outstanding Transplant Award for Liver in 2019. This has allow me to undertake active role in coaching and training numerous staff in the field.

Being promoted to nurse clinician for about 3years, I am quality-focused and efficiency-driven leader, skilled in multitasking and prioritizing patient needs and daily assignments of my staffings. I am willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals and ready to help my team achieve company goals.

Hobbies and Interests

  • I've been doing sports climbing for about 5years, once - twice a week. Occasionally i also do bouldering and rock climbing outdoor. Sports climbing is a very much physical and metal challenge sport. It is a whole body workout that teaches perseverance and courage and i get to toned up. This also exercise the brain as it's all about planning of the route before climbing, coordinating and balancing of our body while climbing.
  • During free time, i will go for a run for relaxation and clear mind.
