Participated in organizing and supporting the Cerebral Palsy Association’s largest outing, where we brought over 80 beneficiaries to Bird Paradise for a meaningful day of joy and connection. Alongside a team of over 50 volunteers, I helped ensure the event ran smoothly—from assisting with transport and mobility needs to engaging with beneficiaries throughout the day.

This experience gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of empathy, patience, and inclusive design. It was incredibly humbling to connect with individuals with cerebral palsy, listen to their stories, and share moments of laughter. It taught me that meaningful impact often comes from simply being present, and reinforced the value of community, respect, and accessibility for all.

Volunteered with Lakeside Family Services, spending time with elderly residents through board games, meaningful conversations, and emotional support. Beyond playing games, I listened as they shared personal stories and challenges, offering a safe space for them to express themselves. It was fulfilling to see how simply being present and listening made a positive difference in their day.
