• Ensure FTA savings realizations and drive cross border saving targets via FTA optimization project within Asia Pacific including cross function collaboration.

• Support any FTA /Trade controls related issues raised by business and operation.

• Contribute and ensure regional alignment with global trade administration team in trade controls, customs management, HS classification and cross-border optimization including FTA savings.

• Monitor changes in trade policies and tariffs avoid penalties and delays.

• Gather and update import and export regulations.

• Maintain strong partnership with the local Export & Import operation leads/logistics service providers in the region.

• Process Customs and regulatory operation for Singapore (Import Permit application, NEA packaging, SDS registration etc).

• Create, Manage, Visualize FTA Matrix Sheet. Create Monthly Logistics Performance Reports

• Knowledge in Strategic Goods / Arms Control laws, China Export Control Law, EAR, ITAR, Dual Use Regulation, Etc.

• Author GHS Safety Data Sheet & Labels via WERCS for Asia Region
• Ensure compliance with APAC Dangerous goods for finished goods
• Handle customs enquiries relating to HS Code, classifications, product composition, rules of origin & free trade agreements
• Volume Tracking, New chemical registration, raw material & new product reviews
• New Regulation Tracking & regulation changes (Impact Analysis)
• Strategies for different Free Trade Agreement application in order to help company to save on taxes and tariffs. One key contribution will be utilizing the India-ASEAN FTA to help company save on cost and increase the product's overall profit margin. Working with multiple functions like R&D, finance to help make this a success in terms of advising on formulation, cost statement preparation and replying questions from customs authorities.

• Management of EHS master data of products & raw materials using SAP
• Support sustainability projects such as Eco-Label Certification, life cycle analysis
• Provide guidance to product development and new markets
• Preparation of dossier for product registration with government authorities
• Monitor regulation trends and compliance risk on business and product portfolio

• Development of new products & analytical solutions
• Modification of existing formulations from current and new sources
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to manufacturing problems
• Handle and transfer technology from one plant to another location
• Sourcing for new raw material equivalent and quality control
