I have been working as a haematologist in Singapore since I completed my training in 2022. I manage both benign and malignant haematological conditions, which include leukaemias, lymphomas, multiple myelomas, immune thrombocytopenia purpura, autoimmune haemolytic anaemia, atypical haemolytic uraemic syndrome, aplastic anaemia, pure red cell aplasia, acquired haemophilia, and many more. My job scope also involves the laboratory aspect of haematology, which includes red cell immunophenotyping and HLA typing. I have a special interest in adoptive cellular therapy and cancer immunology. With the clinical experience that I accumulated from my clinical practice, as well as the strong immunology and research foundation I have built through MSc Immunology, Oxford University, I hope to embark on more cell therapy-based research in future.
