I was promoted twice in Wipro Unza and the latest promotion was in April 2016 to become Associated Regional Sales Manager (A.RSM) taking charge of entire Central region (Selangor/Kuala Lumpur & Negeri Sembilan) for the General Trade and Local Modern Trade entity. I also entrusted with the key responsibility of Central Warehouse where delivery transaction includes not only my own business channel but also all DC Window Key Account.

  • My key deliverable in the business and position is to drive growth and expansion to the GT (Distributor), HTO (Direct Account), Chain Store (Speed Mart 99, 7 Eleven, Felda) which accounted for RM67 million per annum; approximate 16% of total company business and 27% of total GT business (WM)
  • I manages entire Central Warehouse operation and workforce that consisted of 52 workers (warehouse) and a team of Sales Support Clerk.
  • Cross functioning with Marketing / Trade marketing for business improvement such as business expansion plan and model. A regional program was developed in Q1 and Q2 to enhance distribution and business growth. (CJ/ Manjaku, Safi/ 7 Eleven )
  • Deliberates with Finance on Spend management, Account Receivable and resolving potential Account Disputes for better monitoring of overall spend that lead to better profitability.

  • · Total 7 new employments were trained in 2014 – 2016. ( 2 x GTSE - North, 2 x AASM – North & South, 2 x GTSS – Central, 1 x Management Trainee - Central)
  • Consolidation of Central GT 1 and Central GT 2 to become Central GT, July 2015. Initiative to take charge of entire Central with insufficient operation support and yet Central Gt grown by 5% at the end of the financial year.
  • System Management – Distributor Management System (DMS) being introduced to Wipro Unza GT Channel in August 2014. Central as a first region in the country selected for DMS implementation, it was first installed in YL Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
  • A Distributor who has been underperformed and incorporative continuously in the past 17 years has been terminated in January, 2016 after the merge of Central 1 & 2.
