    2. Awarded Woodward Prize for Pali and Buddhist Studies (Greatest Competence) in 1992 by the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya.

    3. Awarded University Scholarship, Special Arts Degree Part II Examination in 1992 by the University of Peradeniya.

    4. Awarded Special Prize of Sri Lanka Oriental Studies and Amarasooriya Prize for the best result of Prachina Prarambha Examination in 1981 by Sri Lanka Oriental Society.

    5. Awarded Jayasekara Prize adn Sri Pagnananda Prize for Pirivena Madyama Examination in 1983 by Sri Lanka Oriental Society.

    6. Awarded Abhyawickrama Prize for the Prachina Final Examination in 1985 by Sri Lanka Oriental Society.

Extra Curricular Activities

Stayed in London Buddhist Vihara for 14 years as a Dhammadhuta Monk, and was propagating the Dhamma to the Local and Sri Lankan Community in England.
