Maintenance and Repairs: Ensuring that all vessels are properly maintained and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, survey and docking.
Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for crew members and compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Developing and managing budgets for vessel operations, maintenance, fuel, and other related expenses. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resources to improve efficiency and profitability.
Leading Marine Department and report to Fleet Manager, ensure fleet vessel safety implementation and handle with internal and external safety inspection.
Vessel Operations: Managing the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including scheduling, routing, and coordinating vessel movements to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for crew members and compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks related to vessel operations, such as weather conditions, navigation hazards, security threats, and environmental concerns.
Emergency Response: Developing contingency plans and protocols for emergency situations, such as accidents, natural disasters, or security incidents, and coordinating response efforts accordingly.
Report and assist to Marine Manager, monitoring and ensure Vessels in charge comply with statutory and industry regulation, law. Conducting and coordinating internal and external safety inspection. Promote the safety standard of vessels.
Joining Maersk Cadet Training Program and service on board from Deck Cadet till COC 1 Mariner on various type vessels (Container, VLCC, PCTC) in various company Maersk /Rickmers / BSM.
