• Participate in daily meetings with Event Planners before start of event
• Manage timeline to carry out all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.) within stipulated time frame (~5 event sites per day)
• Follow through logistics and transportation plans in support of events
• Liaise closely with client and event organizers and vendors to align expectations including relaying event deliverables and timelines to vendors
• Perform initial inspection of vendors' event deliverables to ensure quality standards
• Ensure set ups adhere to local security, Workplace Safety and Health policies and regulations and event plans
• Proactively perform final checks on actual day of event to address any unexpected on-site issues
• Evaluate event’s success and report back to Headquarters.

Client Account Management

• Manage key strategic client portfolio, including pricing strategies, planning and successful execution of service deliverables
• Understand client’s goals and align expectations to strategize time and resources productively and timely resolution of customer queries and certification request
• Guide clients through conformity assessment programs (CAP) to ensure their company goods and/or processes adhere to safety, design, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor cost of sales against revenue to ensure annual target financial margins are met
• Maintain strong relationship with customers and third-party vendors to sustain long term business partnering
• Supported Operation Manager in driving negotiations, contracts and tenders with both external and internal stakeholders, establishing pricing structures and product needs

Business Operations

• Certified TAPA APAC (FSR2020) auditor
• Develop audit scope, not limited to risk identification, risk management, technical feasibility, resource availability and coordination (internal and external stakeholders) in accordance to project objectives.
• Monitor project progress closely to ensure audit deliverables are on-time, within scope and within budget
• Manage changes in project scope, including rescheduling and re-costing
• Build comprehensive project documentation with key performance indicators
• Provide cost monitoring and procurement support for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines team to achieve economies of scale i.e.
• Procurement savings of 10% from identifying potential bulk orders of testing and calibration equipment for local, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines teams
• Supervise overseas team in Malaysia and Indonesia on day to day operations, not limited to project scheduling, problem solving discussions to resolve audit issues and/or findings to avoid delaying client’s imports and exports

Business Development

• Lead expansion of operation team in Malaysia and Indonesia, value-adding to Intertek’s business growth, attaining bigger market share and drive profitable sales growth across different market segments
• Trained operation employees in Malaysia to ensure that provision and quality of services are aligned to Singapore office and business strategy collectively
• Established audit framework to guide overseas audit team to execute audit in accordance with statutory requirements
• One of Intertek core team member responsible for attaining ISO/IEC17065:2012, ISO/IEC17020 and ISO 9001:2015 for Intertek, creating competitive advantage over competitors.

Operations and Safety

• Key team member of Terminal Expansion Project (Phase 2) supporting successful commission of additional storage facilities (165,000m3) through establishing work processes, procedures and execution of work orders in accordance to safety regulations whilst concurrently manage day to day operations of existing Phase 1 storage facilities (370,000m3) including jetties operations and inter transfer activities.
• Skilled at working independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and trace them to the plant layout and operations.
• Conduct Tool-box meeting with ground crew to highlight key issues on safety and operations.
• Worked closely with loss adjustors during shipment discrepancies to establish justifications
• Certified confined space assessor, ensuring safe manhole entries are practiced by employees and contractors during inspection and cleaning
• Oversee feed and run-down line system from sea corridors to storage facilities to avoid operation disruptions.
• Communicate with PSA Marine Pilot to safely navigate vessel berth at terminal jetty.
• Expertise in Yokogawa DCS system to monitor operations.
• Liaise with MPA on sample collection to ensure safe wastewater discharge at acceptable limits.
• Review and approve Permit-to-Work prior to start of contractors work.
• Deliver operational work within customers' expectations and requirements in timely manner.
• CERT team member trained in CPR and life saving skills.
