  • An American media company that acquired CBS's web sites : CNET, ZDNet,Gamespsot and TechRepublic in 2020. As part of the acquisition, I am responsible to lead the Sales team in Singapore in advertising in B-C and B-B space. Our portfolio covers banner ads, lead generation, and custom content creation.

Responsible to lead the Singapore sales team in selling banner ads, custom content and leads to Technology clients and agencies across APAC.

  • Key achievements:
    Initiated pivoting of our business during the start of COVID to create new products and roadshows in APAC (ahead of US) by working with the regional cross functional teams. The team successfully achieved an additional 20% in sales 20220, and reinforced our brand as the Thought Leader in the B-B space for Technology advertisers.
  • Created a winning culture by mentoring and coaching my team to set achievable goals that equally stretch what they initially thought were impossible. This led to individuals hitting their targets by an additional 5-30% per quarter.

  • Major achievements:
    Empowered individual team member by conducting 1-1 troubleshooting sessions, and constantly tweaked the go-to-market messaging for new products from the US to suit the APAC market. This led the sales team to hit their individual and team targets by an additional 30% in 2017.
  • Spotted and retained talents within the team. Supported them to move to key growth key growth areas of the company such as Operations and Programmatic.
  • Reduced campaign delays at the end of each quarter from 50% to less than 3% since 2017. This resulted to increase in cash flow for the company.
  • Successfully managed challenging relationships and workflow efficiencies with partners in Korea, China and Japan, this ensured that incremental metrics are met annually.
  • Developed a new business revenue stream for the company by working with our partner in Japan to sell Programmatic.
