Vinay Krishna

As a individual with substantial volunteer experience in hospital settings, I am eager to participate in a doctor job shadowing program to deepen my understanding of medical practices and patient care. My volunteer work has given me insights into the healthcare environment, allowing me to develop strong interpersonal skills and a deep appreciation for the dedication and expertise required in the medical field. Through this shadowing opportunity, I would like to observe the daily responsibilities of a doctor, and gain firsthand experience of what it likes to be on the frontline treating patients, that will be crucial in my pursuit of a career in medicine. As such, I am looking forward to the prospect of learning from an experienced professional to better serve patients in the future.

• Research experience: Won the Science Mentorship Programme award in 2022, a school-based research mentorship programme
• Academic achievements: Received the Edusave Certificate of Academic achievement in 2023, given to the top 25% of students in a cohort.
• Was selected to represent the school in the MOE Pre-University Seminar in 2024.
