Serving as a Commercial Executive under Wallem Commercial Services division, handling a range of dry bulk vessel commercial operations and management on behalf of banks, investors and ship owners by providing commercial management to achieve best result with the most cost-effective direction.

As a representative of our clients, provide comprehensive commercial and financial solutions to maximize the outcome. Responsible for day-to-day operations. Monitoring daily progress and schedule. Analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions or advise. Ensure smooth operations.

• In charge for all range of bulk carrier vessel operations on time charter/ voyage charter.
• Monitoring daily commercial operations of ships.
• Maintaining separate accounts for each vessel by individual fixture.
• Issuing voyage instructions to Master.
• Liaising directly with the ships and the charterers.
• Issuing and following up on payment of hire/freight invoices.
• Calculate laytime and demurrage/dispatch.
• Appointing and dealing with agents and inspectors on a regular basis.
• Assisting in settlement of disputes.
• Maintaining record of offhire and ensuring that downtime is always minimized.
• Checking voyage bunker requirement and collecting bunkers quotes. Purchasing bunkers for vessel upon getting approval by authorities.
• Monitoring ship’s speed and consumption and maintaining vessel performance records. Highlighting under-performance to technical managers and ensuring that necessary steps are taken to rectify any under-performance.
• Ensuring that ships are being operated as per CP.
• Maintaining proper voyage records.
• Preparing monthly/weekly reports as required.

My main area of expertise is creating and managing vessel operations.
• Calculating and issuing freight, deviation and interim ports, reimbursement claims as well as demurrage claims including negotiating and settling demurrage claims.
• Liaising with the team following the schedule of the vessels, checking time bars or recaps and ensuring that claims are settled.
• Stowage and voyage planning to meet safety criteria, international/domestic regulations, chemical requirements, charterer’s requirements and economic efficiency.
• Handling of BL’s i.e. issuance and collection of BL to obtain LOI for charterer/broker through commercial channels.
• Manage the filing of the vessel’s documents i.e. NOR, cargo operations log and timesheet , protest letter etc.
• Liaise with financial department to issue freight invoices with supporting documents.

Handling operations for voyage & time chartered vessels
• Responsible for operations of all time chartered vessel's (Capesize & Supramax bulk carriers) including maintaining the statement of accounts for hire payment.
• Developed charterer's general instructions for Time Chartered vessels including reporting requirements.
• Analyse Charter parties and draw up detailed Vessel Voyage Instructions .
• Cargo intake planning / agency appointments / weather routing service appointments / frequent contact with Master / Owners / shippers / receivers .
• Check Bills of Lading / Letters of Indemnity.
Raising Initial Freight Invoices once the vessel completes loading.
• Laytime/demurrage calculations with charterers/owners within the specified time period.
• Raising of the Final Freight Invoices one the laytime calculations are completed/settled
• Negotiating/Settling of laytime calculations at the earliest.
• Ensure timely payments to Owners and agents and follow up the same.

Ensure Delivery/redelivery notices sent to Owners/Charterers as per Charter Party.
• Ensure payments received from charterers and follow up the same
• Arranging Rightship, MER Solution and other inspections of time-chartered vessels.
• Handling of commercial shipping operations for all GFG group fixtures.

• Responsible for creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives by understanding the target audience, market trends, and competition to devise effective plans.
• Optimize marketing campaigns to maximize ROI while staying within budget.
• Ensure the company's website ranks well in search engine results
• Manage the company's presence on various social media platforms as part of brand building and customer engagement.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the teams efforts.
• Used tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, and CRM systems to gather insights and make data-driven decisions.
