I am currently working in an outpatient specialized clinic in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, in Orthopedic clinic.

My job scope was, wound dressing and removal of stitches or sutures for post surgery patients, assisting Doctors in injections, blood taking, doing plaster casting or backslab for patients, assisting Doctors in consultation room. I also does simple advised to patients and caregivers of proper wound management.

I was working in a private specialize clinic under orthopedic as a Staff Nurse and Clinic supervisor.

My job scope was to ensure clinic is running smoothly, stocks are adequate, assisting Doctors with wound dressings, stitches removals.

I also have done financial counseling for patients who will be going for surgery, explaining of medications and medical braces to patients. Liaising with vendors and hospital for surgery.

I also do handle with insurances for patients, and claims for their consultations.

I was working in an inpatient ward, specialize in neurology and neurosurgery.

My job scope was mainly bedside nursing.

Following Doctors round, serving medications, following up Doctors plans. Feeding NGT/PEG or inserting NGT.

Care of PICC, doing dressings and removal of sutures in wards.

I also give caregiver trainings to family or carer.

I was also trained in monitoring patients with EVD, stroke patients and protocol, and also trained in tracheostomy.

Giving IV/IM medications.

• Administered medications via oral, IV, and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Managed care from admission to discharge.
• Updated patient charts with data such as medications to keep records current and support accurate treatments.
