• Provide basic pre and postoperative patient care activities and services to patients.
• Take patients’ vital signs and complete documentation.
• Responsible for checking and transferring all patients to and from Operating Theatre for surgery.
• Provide relevant and updated information to relatives on the status of operations.

• Bathe residents and attend to their personal hygiene, brushing teeth, toilet etc.
• Make and tidy beds.
• Simple application of ointment/cream and simple dressing for residents.
• Help to serve breakfast and feed the residents at mealtimes.
• Sweep and mop the floor of residents’ rooms and dining hall after each meal.
• Help the residents to bed at rest time and bedtime.
• Empties rubbish, bedspans and urinals.
• Accompanying residents to hospitals and OPD.
• Turning residents at night to change their sleeping positions.
• Change the residents who are incontinent.
• Help residents to the toilet.
