- Responsibilities: To ensure Wet bulb, Dry bulb, Air & Steel (Substrate) Temperatures Relative humidity, Dew point temperatures at regular intervals to prepare Daily weather& ambient conditions Reports while the blasting & coating works are going on.
- Visual inspection for surface cleanness prior to start blasting works
- Suggesting and monitoring the surface cleaning works while required
- Inspection of the anchor profile with press
- Film & type of finish with surface profile comparator after blasting
- Verifying the painting specification for the selection of paints to be applied
- Keeping records of Batch Numbers, Exp Date, mixing ratio, Thinning ratio, MSDS details and manufacturer QC Certificates for the paint products used.
- Checking the wet film thickness while spraying
- Monitoring the drying time intervals for the coatings applied
- Checking Dry film thickness after drying
- Ensure the recoating intervals to maintain hard dry
- Checking the final DFT readings of the entire coating systems and data entry for preparing final inspection reports
- Conducting adhesion tests for the sample panels and dolly pull off adhesion tester and preparing test reports upon request of the clients
