Joined Singapore Police Force January 1970 till July1994. Awarded 'Baton of Honour' during completion of recruite training @ Police Academy. Deployed to 'F' Division & performed various task including, plaincloth patrol, bicycle patrol, coastal patrol, patrol car IC cum driver, staff car driver & others.

Applied & transferred to Traffic Police Maxwell from 1975 till 1994 - 19 yrs. Rose from rank of Police Constable to the rank of Station Inspector. Perform various task to keep our roads safe, jammed free & take enforcement action agains errant motorists. I was chosen to be one of 10 traffic enforcement officers to undergo skill riding & driving training conducted locally by overseas instructors from Japan, Mr Iwao in motorcycle handling & skill riding. Also Mr Jackie Steward in skill & pursuit driving. Also completed security driving, defensive driving, advance driving & precision driving courses. I was the in-charge of a 'special operations' squad consist of 10 officers to safe guard Singapore roads from 'hell-riding' activities. I received a special 'Nation Day Award' in 1987 presented by the President of Singapore, Mr Wee Kim Wee. Apart from this, I also received 18 'Testimonials & Commendations' from the Commissioner of Police, Singapore for my work & contribution to safe guard roads & curb the hell-riding activities in Singapore.
