I was in the National Civil Defense Cadet Corps in Secondary school, with the rank of Staff Sergeant, and the in-charge of my juniors. As I was the in-charge of my juniors, I was tasked to teach them foot-drill commands and life-saving skills such as first-aid and CPR, whilst ensuring their safety. I specialise in Urban Search And Rescue, where I went to the Civil Defense Academy for a 4-day course. During the course, I had to coordinate with my cadet mates to carry out mock rescue operations efficiently, as well as apply the different rescue methods correctly in different situations.
