Syed Abdillah Al-Idrus

Served as a provost in Singapore Civil Defence Force during my National Service. Received an award for Best Trainee during my Provost Course. My vocation involves working with inmates and detainees, escorting from one place to another safely. We also conduct urine tests, locker inspections as well as keeping up the organization's dicsiplinary standards. I will be operationally ready (ORD) by November 2024.

Polytechnic Diploma Intership. Involed in managing a foreign worker dormitory that housed patients whom had recovered from COVID-19. Job scope included planning meals, scheduling incoming and outgoing of patients, conducting basic health checks, liasing with patients' companies, facility management and overall security of the dormitory. Converted to full-time employee during the last 2 months of my stint after the internship had ended. Received the highest possible grade for internship performance.

Scholarship intern for Higher Nitec certification in Leisure & Travel Operations. Involved in digital marketing, site recce, negotiations with potential clients and customer service hotline. I was also stationed at the kiosk and was responsible for ticketing, tour recommendation and guest ushering during tours. Received the highest grade for internship performance.

Assisted with various tasks during catering events. Tasks include stewarding, refilling dishes and topping up drinks.
