SYED MOHAMED NASIR ALHABSHI possess a natural leadership skill and technical capabilities. He specialized in both technical and management aspect, namely Technical Leadership, Process Engineering, Process Safety, Plant Operations, and Asset Management. He has more than 31 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, both upstream and downstream. He has held several positions and functions, from Process Engineer in Project, Plant Superintendent, Operations Head, Process Safety Head and Custodian , he holds Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and Master Degree in Process Safety & Loss Prevention. After leading the plant operations, he was handpicked by PETRONAS to pursue his Master Degree in Process Safety and consequently appointed as Head of Process Safety in PETRONAS Group Technical Solution.

• Lead/ Principal Engineer, Technical Safety and HSE, 2014 - Present, Appointed as Core Project Team and Project Technical Authority (Technical HSE) for Final Development Plan to expend and develop number of Wells and develop 4 key facilities namely 3 Crude Oil Trains, Integrated Gas Processing Plant, 108kV Power Plant and Water Management Unit., Prepared ITB for FDP EPCC packages, i.e.; Train 3,4,5 and iGPP for Design HSE portion., Prepared ITB for EPCC Power Plant package for Design HSE portion., Reviewed Design HSE detail engineering deliverables for Well Sides and Gas Treatment Units., Evaluation team members for Gas Processing Plant, Crude Trains 345, Water Management and 108 KV Power Plant.
• Head, Ammonia/Methanol Operations, PETRONAS Fertilizer Kedah, Malaysia, 2005 - 2006, Led AMMONIA/METHANOL Plant schedule Turnaround (2005)., Optimized and reduced the unnecessary long duration of Benfield Unit Circulation of Vanadium Pentoxide for corrosion protective layer build up by working together with Process Engineer via increasing the circulation rate., Optimized the shift manning of Ammonia Plant Operators., Led a study to resolve low reliability of a new CO2 removal unit., Reduced the energy loss via introducing the Energy Loss Management System in AMMONIA/METHANOL Plant., Led the implementation of Training Simulation setting up for Ammonia/Urea Complex to improve the plant personnel capability and reduce the human error., Reviewed and approved annual budget for AMMONIA/METHANOL Operations.
