I was an Allied Educator Teaching & Learning (AED T&L) in Woodlands Ring Primary School for 7 years. As an AED, I have been exposed to an array of students with multiple personality traits. I have always been attached to what many have deemed to be the most problematic students. I am, by nature, an affable person. This holds me in good stead with many of these students. They may have objections to opening up to others, but more often than not, I am able to get these students to open up. Given the nature of an AED T&L position, I am limited in how far I can go for these students. Currently, I am studying at Singapore University of Social Sciences in Bachelor of Counselling. With proper training, I feel confident that I will be able to help provide a safe haven for the students to tell their stories and equip them with skills to be more resilient, emotionally stable, and self-reliant. Late last year, I was offered a position as an Allied Educator Learning and Behavioural Support after the interview. Currently, I am an Allied Educator Learning and Behavioural Support (AED LBS), where my focus has been directed more on students with special needs, like Autism, Dyslexia, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), visual, hearing, sensory and physical impairments.

I have always been interested in art since childhood. I ventured into the world of henna when I was 15 years old. My mother got me my first bride when I was 15 years old, and I have been doing bridal henna to this day. In 2016, my henna art and 16 other talented henna artists' work were chosen. It appeared in an article, 16 Pictures Of Super Neat Mehendi That Will Finally Leave You Satisfied on Buzzfeed. A few years later, I was given the honour to be a judge for a henna competition.
Another thing that I love is being in the water. I have tried many water sports, like surfing, snorkeling and diving. However, after my diving stint in Maldives, I am convinced that I want to do more of it. Thus, I got myself certified on the 1st of April 2018.
