As a country business partner, I pay close attention to the voice from our customers & distributors, the feedback from first-line sales team and deeply involved in the discussion of strategy & business plan with leadership team.

This role is in Commercial team. This time I stand on the other side as a partner of FP&A to have another view of my previous job and put myself in the shoes of business thinking.
As a business planning manager for a startup pharmaceutical company, my key priority is to support the successful launch of our products. Work cross functional for the launch readiness and pricing analysis/setting for the new products.
For the products launched, I work closely with marketing team for the patient model in order to set proper sales target for the team. Tracking the sales performance, process financial support and resource allocation.
Collaborate with Finance team for the budget/forecast cycle, provide business insight and knowledge sharing with finance team and align reasonable financial target (P&L) for the Commercial.
Key project beyond the role of FP&A
Routine:
I started my career in Baxter as a junior accounting responsible for the reimbursement.
I had several role transition in accounting team including AP, AR and business partner of service department to support their daily operation and closing.
Then I transferred to FP&A team under the Financial System and Reporting team. I worked with IT team to do the system support for FP&A including reporting system maintain and customize, solve the system error, lead the system upgrade and data interface/cleaning/uploading.
My last experience at Baxter was junior FP&A covering the spending control and analysis for the BU Renal and same time support the full HC related cost analysis for Greater China.
