DATACENTER COMPETENCIES

Extensive experience in the lifecycle of projects and understanding of large scale datacenters or similar IT infrastructure projects. I am competent for multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. I excel in the conceptualization, design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations of cutting-edge facilities. My expertise encompasses:

Security By Design (SBD): Experienced in security landscaping for critical infrastructure like datacenter, power plants, is evolving rapidly due to heightened risks from terrorism, cyber threats, and operational disruptions. Preparing strategic, systematic, and tailored framework for developing baseline security, cyber-security & structural hardening measures to address vulnerabilities and breaches.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external consultants from inception to completion. Manage and motivate team to deliver company goals in line with the company's priorities and creation of a high-performing and professional Datacenter Engineering (DCE) team.

Business Development: Work with the designer and solutions team to estimate new projects for quotations. Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic initiatives and ensure cost-effective operations. Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin enhancement through data-driven analysis and strategic decision-making

Technical Proficiency: Robust understanding of data infrastructure, including hardware, Fiber cabling, power cabling, power usage effectiveness (PEU), and utility management for design of CRAC & HVAC units’ configuration (air/water/hybrid cooling). Proficient in assessing LOD 400 and LOD 500 level and integration of 3D/4D platforms in compliance to standards for project delivery and operational readiness. Robust understanding of data infrastructure, hardware, cabling, main and auxiliary power & cooling & other utility majors. Construction Site Management: Liaise with main contractors and customers on site work to achieve project targets. Ensure compliance of the relevant quality and safety standard / procedures and other statutory requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop precise MEP, IT related plans and specs for the project. Manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality and timely delivery. Monitor MEP progress on-site, addressing issues and making necessary corrections. Preservation and de-humidification of components.

Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ensuring alignment among internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals. Work closely with Contractor teams, and Sub-Contractors to ensure smooth running of projects through the life cycle.
