She is a Mass Media graduate from St Xaviers College, Mumbai and also holds a filmmaking diploma from Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, Czech Republic. She has stepped into the field of entertainment at a very tender age and has the experience of facing the camera and doing life performances on stage be it in dance or acting. She is a classically trained dancer as well as a classically trained singer. She has her Bachelors degree in the Hindustani Classical Music from the Bhatkande University in Lucknow.

- Her first feature film as an actor was Adomya in the year 2014, directed by Dr Bobby Sarma Baruah.
- She did her second feature film, where she played the role of the protagonist under the direction of Dr Santana Bordoloi, named “Maj Rati Keteki” which has won the best Assamese feature film in the 64th National Film Awards.
- Anunaad is her third feature film and is directed by Reema Borah. This film too got the National Award for the best film in the Social Issues category at the Prestigious 69th National Film Award 2023.
- Her fourth feature film is Rodor Pakhi (Walking in the Air) where she plays the role of the protagonist. The story is based on a true story.
- Her Fifth feature film as an Actor is an untitled Bollywood film directed by director Amit Rai known for his films like “Oh my God 2”.

- Mishing, is her first venture as a Producer which went on to win the Best Sherdukpen Film in the 66th National Film Award along with its official selection in many National and International film festivals.
