In the project, we analyzed the performance of Mainframe applications and optimized the CPU resource consumed by the Mainframe applications for CITI bank. We created reports to identify the MIPS consumption of modules and worked to tune the modules. Created and modified COBOL modules.

· Extracted data from SMF and formatted it using SAS code provided by MXG, a third-party vendor

FileAid to Optim MOVE migration - Developer/Team Member

The project (client BB&T bank) involved migration from File-Aid to IBM Optim MOVE for managing the test data. 

· Analyzed impact due to the migration and compared the data masking functions in FileAid and the IBM tool

· Prepared a list of data masking functions in IBM tool that can be used in place of FileAid data masking functions without affecting the existing data and layout of the test files.

· Created JCLs for migration using the IBM OPTIM tool
