Key Achievements and outcomes:

  • Lead engagement with multiple stakeholders including analysis, position paper, stakeholder study groups along with Government of Malaysia and part of the core team focused on the revamp of the Malaysian Arbitration Act.
  • Acted as the Secretary General for Domain Name Dispute Resolution Partnership including focusing on guidance notes and policy decisions arising for GDPR regulations in Asia.
  • Successfully created and executed niche strategies, policy positioning, drafting on projects such as Standard Form of Contracts for adjudication, adjudication training, Belt Road Initiatives etc to help establish brand and reputation.
  • Responsible for compliance with host country obligations and international obligations including budgeting and submission of annual reports to AALCO and the Government of Malaysia.
  • Lead negotiations for MoUs to be entered into with various international organizations. Lead over 15 negotiations in the year 2017 that resulted in strategic partnerships.
  • Set up global help desks for commercial and international law with diverse legal team for better access and improved business.
  • Delivered data outcomes to internal and external staff to drive continuous improvement and customer engagement.
