2. RFL Ad hoc Tool : Retail fulfillment Operations – Ad hoc functionality is to report various measures related to Operations Area (Billings , Bookings , Inventory , In transit , Pack out , APS , POS Invoice etc.) in Data Browser - which is an internal tool for Apple Inc. Data Browser initially pointed to SAP HANA DB from which data is fetched in the reports , however , all aggregations were done in Teradata and replicated to HANA DB. Current Version of this Tool now points to Teradata where Data Browser reports points directly. Objective of this project was to enable the users to view measures in Data Browser rather than SAP BO reports.

3. AFO CT Retrofit: AFO CT is an application that has 2 interfaces – WW Booking (Containing bookings data for Apple products, across regions at order ID, Order item level along with numerous products, organization and channel related dimensions), Backlog (Contains all the backlog data). Important Measures (Gross/net order units, backlog units, order, cancellation, fraud, delivery etc.) are derived directly from Orders data. There are various TDE (Tableau Data Extracts) that extracts data from the aggregate views for Tableau reporting. AFO CT consumes orders directly from Core views - Orders data as major source, which in turn fetches from GSD(Oracle) layer. However, in AFO CT - Retrofit, we have the Application pointing OIE (Order Item Extended) core table built as part of CDF initiative, which fetches data from HANA layer and is faster source. The data coming from SAP -> GSD-> EDW would change to SAP->HANA -> EDW. Also, most of the measures and dimensions would be integrated in HANA into a single source of truth and would reach EDW. Hence latency and lines of could would be reduced.

4. Store Pre Order: The objective of Store Pre Order Reporting is to track and report the supply (RCI) vs Demand for Retail APU and reservation Data. Minutes to hours comparison of data for products pre- ordered during launch at Retail Stores with previous years launch data. The Store Pre-Order was developed by WW DS team and as part of this project it is be owned by GBI

Responsibilities

Participated as an offshore team player for all the developments for the backend. Directly interacting with users and other DEV teams to understand requirements. Writing Snowflake dmls , Teradata procedures to populate the data into tables at different levels. Involve in error handling and performance tuning of Teradata queries. Involve in preparing test cases, unit and integration testing along with prod deployment.
