Key Responsibilities


Job Summary


  • Provide extensive and immediate assistance to Hotel Opening Team and to the newly opening hotels by building rates, auditing and monitoring hotel operations database in GRS, IRIS, Brand Web Sites, Global Distribution Systems, and various Third-Party Internet Sites. Provide performance reporting for the new Hotel Opening lifecycle.
  • Provide service and assistance to Hotel Opening Managers and Hotels in the opening process by building rates and providing pre and post opening reports.
  • Accomplish special Ad Hoc Projects as requested by Hotel Opening Managers


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Provide assistance to the Hotel Opening Team and to the newly opened hotels in the following areas but not limited to:


· Pre-opening: Preparation for the hotel for pre-sell and on the shelf visibility, ensuring the following tasks are completed:

· Rate loading - Responsible for activating all designated mandatory rates, restrictions, hotel policies and maximizing their revenue strategies through yield management and monitoring hotel in the branded website and making sure the Hotel is following IHG Standards about their pricing strategy.

· GRS - preparation of house policies and inventory

· Negotiated (LNR & KNR) rate structures are loaded accordingly

· Activates Packages and loads Groups in GRS

· Confirm hotel pre-sell phase is completed to ensure all required opportunity to sell the hotel is maximized


· Transitional: Auditing to ensure the hotel’s performance readiness is completed ensuring the following tasks are completed:

· Rate and availability Audit - Constantly monitor rates and allocations in the system by providing the Pre-sell and Post-Opening audit reports. Recommends revenue action items based from the audit reports.

· Channel Audit for channel parity & availability - Provides extensive testing and auditing of the systems especially GRS as well as the branded website visibility, bookability, and searchability.

· Hotel Information – Ensure all required hotel information and relevant systems are updated like IRIS and IHG Concerto


· Post-Opening: Auditing and follow up to ensure opened hotel is on track:

· Completion of Post Opening audits

· Monitor New Hotels availability and channel checks
