Quality Incident management/report

  • Managed Quality and Logistic Incident Affiliate/Suppliers
  • Drive and Management of Quality and Logistic Incidents, by being the single contact window for any reporting
  • Lead the ALGEM Team for the reporting as well as leading the meeting reviews with the appropriate PIC (Quality Manager, Asset Specialists for Technical etc)
  • Allocate the incidents according to the process with the key stakeholders and drive the investigation, closure and monitoring
  • Use these KPI to enhance the process and have a general overview on the incidents/Requests Categories, Processes
  • Drive and Review supplier Corrective Action report/8D report and check if the root cause is properly identified, followed to ensure that their corrective/preventive actions are effective
  • Guide the suppliers with some 6-sigma problem solving methodology (5 Why, 8D, fish bone, FMEA,etc) if deemed necessary to ensure the incidents are correctly addressed
  • Maintain the Tools enabling reporting and upgrade (or share needs for upgrade) if necessary

Managed Affiliate Request from Affiliate/Suppliers

  • Drive and manage of any Affiliate or supplier request, by being the single contact window for any reporting
  • Guide the ALGEM Team for the reporting as well as leading the meeting reviews during the Quality meeting and assign the request to the appropriate person to work on the request
  • Ensure that the Affiliate and supplier had received the correct information before the request is closed

Electronic Certificate of Analysis

  • Lead/drive this eCOA process with the team to ensure that the suppliers comply with our company policy in submitting their Certificate of Analysis report before shipping the product so that our system is able to perform a online check the product is in spec
  • Guide and review with the suppliers on the eCOA requirement through the eCOA white paper requirements
  • Prepare/Create the golden template on which data to extract from supplier COA into the CSV file
  • Support eCOA error troubleshooting when there is an error in gideon's system

Management of Change

  • Lead this MOC review/qualification process when the supplier informs ALGEM that there is a change of Process/Part/Service in their scope of service
  • Review all the necessary documents from suppliers and lead the review with Affiliate to identify if all changes are identified that risks are identified, assessed and mitigated and that changes are approved before implementation by the stakeholders

Achievement/Involvement:

  • Managed to drive the Quality incident closure days from 65days to the target of 30days when I joined Air Liquide by working closely with each stakeholder on effective root cause analysis
  • Lead to cultivate some suppliers in using some of the Quality methodologies on investigating the root cause, effective corrective/preventive action and the use of 8D report

Supply Chain Operation

  • Drive the Assets operations activity closely working with Asset leaders, ALGEM Planners, Logistics Coordinators and AL Affiliates for empty container import and full container export business
  • Support to provide any technical documents/enquiry/issue arise from freight forwarder or filling supplier if required to ensure no delay in the overall schedule
  • Monitor Asset Rotations for ALGEM
  • Being the Main Contact window for Affiliates for Asset management
  • Communicate with cross functional teams such as logistics & planning, procurement, Business and QHSE within ALGEM organization to achieve ALGEM goals such as Safety, Quality, Reliability and Efficiency target
  • Lead/Track the MEGC Silane Empty return shipment trends (Turn Around Time) for each Affiliate to discuss with the supply chain team during the weekly DPM meeting on how to support the Affiliates reducing the MEGC rental cost by returning before the supplier rental grace period ends
  • Setup a grace monitoring chart for all Affiliate to track the rental grace period and share to them in a specify time frame.This is to create awareness for them to keep track on their site

Asset Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication to AL Affiliates regarding Asset Status (Arrival of Empty packaging at Supplier Site, Maintenance Readiness, Available Pool, ..)
  • Drive, Plan and control the MEGC maintenance and requalification activities with AL Affiliates or third party’s facilities, contracted as ALGEM’s suppliers, who perform actual MEGCs inspection, maintenance and requalification
  • Review the requalification’s report after Retest completed to ensure that the supplier complies with the requirements stated
  • Track/Issue Purchase/Repair Quotation to Affiliate and raise the ALGEM PO to supplier in the timely manner
  • Prepare monthly billing to Affiliate and confirm the accuracy tally with supplier invoice
  • Own the Process (SOP) as well as the tool established in ALGEM for the reporting

Voice of customer survey/improvement

  • Work with Risk management team to conduct yearly customer survey across all the Affiliate from different regions like Japan, France, Taiwan, Singapore, US, Philippine, Vietnam, China, etc
  • Based on customer satisfaction survey result to brainstorm ideas/activities and priorities which area to implement first according to the schedule timeline
  • Lead the supplier Audit- Freight forwarder and IM suppliers (Support the Technical audits for MEGC providers)
  • Lead the Alternate suppliers sourcing process as part of the risk management mitigation
  • Support the HSE/Risk Manager related slides for Monthly/Quarterly reporting to the management
