Responsible Senior Vice President to manage/maintain the availability, stability of all infrastructure components (ie. Unix, Wintel, VHS, Databases, Storage & backup), Governance of vendor delivery for infrastructure core components. Accountable for delivering, managing IaaS in GCP, Oracle Exadata cloud @ Customer. Effective management of large number of internal and External vendor resources, Scrutinize/Manage all weekend critical changes in infrastructure estate. Effective participation in all critical outages via command centre, assist to restore the services quickly and involve the problem management discussions to identify the root cause.. Identify the TOILs in infra estate & establish the automated solution to reduce the manual intervention.

Periodic risk assessment in Infrastructure areas with appropriate remediation, ensure compliance with regulatory/audit expectations and handled various internal/external audits. Collaborate with application teams to meet their milestones, involve in cloud strategy and migration.

Responsible to manage all Unix Servers and Databases in JPMorgan Chase env, hosted in NA, EMEA & APAC regions, managing 30,000+ databases & 60,000+ servers during APAC timezone with 100+ DBAs/SAs. Ensure the servers/database availability and stability at the maximum, effective management of all critical incidents with respect to Servers/Databases via incident/problem management process.

As part of SRE model, involved on various self-service automation for various tasks to reduce toils. Responsible to implement storage monitoring for Oracle databases via OEM using storage plug-in & manage Real Application Testing to assist application teams for load testing etc.

Responsible to manage all Databases & Unix servers in Deutsche Bank environment, hosted in US, UK, EMEA and APAC regions with solid SLA, managing 9000+ databases & 30,000 servers with 200+ resources globally across all regions. Successful transition of L1/L2 & L3 support from various vendors/locations into centralised location. Established strong process and technical solutions to reduce the outages and demonstrated via incident/problem management process. Resolved customer complaints and concerns with strong verbal and negotiation skills. Co-ordination with Unix , Storage and backup team for all sort of incidents, outages and resolve the issues.

Worked as APAC Database manager under Global Support Model, managed around 7000+ databases globally with 50 DBAs in APAC region and another 40 DBAs in US/UK/EMEA regions. Effective management and delivery of Oracle Exadata tasks and global OEM monitoring for Oracle databases. Ensured the database availability & stability at the maximum, implemented effective production access control for DBAs to prevent any unapproved changes. Derived good backup strategy for all production databases and ensured the database backups are in-tact all the time for all business application databases in the bank. Optimized the database environment & ensured the database availability by implementing pro-active measures. Established strong process and technical solutions to reduce the outages to avoid/minimize the impact to business in the bank and demonstrated. Responsible to manage Oracle Exadata platform.

Worked in Citibank , Singapore as a Senior Oracle database Administrator via Apar Infotech Pte Ltd for 20 months duration. Managed hundreds of Oracle databases in various OS platforms like HP-UX, Solaris, Digital Unix and IBM AIX etc. Developed a robust tool for database backup and monitoring. Effective production database support provided to various application teams and the respective business. Established process for resources on-boarding/off-boarding  and KOP.

Worked as a Senior Consultant (ie. Senior Database Administrator & Project Lead) in HCL Infotech Services Chennai, India in HCL's Software technology Park for one of their US client called Consilium Inc. As part of Consilium off-shore project, managed 10+ Oracle databases and the respective HP Unix servers. In addition to database/Unix administration, worked as a project lead for Consilium's Workstream product. Managed one of the project module, resources and delivered on-time as per client's expectation. As a Database expert, visited various client's location and resolved various database related issues.
